The classic driving licence (B licence) is sufficient to drive a motorhome of less than 3.5 tons.
The vast majority of motorhomes for rent on Wikicampers can therefore be driven with just the license B.
In addition, you can add a trailer to the camper, if it has a GVWR (total permissible gross weight) less than or equal to 750 kg.
To drive a heavy duty motorhome (over 3.5 tons), you must have the C1 license.
This permit allows driving a vehicle so the GVW is between 3.5 and 7.5 tons.
However, if you obtained the license B before 20/01/1975, you can drive a motorhome truck with code 79 "motorhome 3,500 kg" affixed to your driver's license.
