Motorhome world uses a specific vocabulary. Let’s help you understand all those words.
Motorhome beddings :
Island bed : 3 sides reachable bed.
Booth dinette bed : it is the kitchen’s booth and table that convert into a bed.
French bed : it is a bed located alongside one of the motorhome side.
Motorhome electrical system :
A motorhome has a 12 volt electrical system and a 220 volt system.
Leisure battery : battery located inside the motorhome allowing you to have 12V electricity and thus charge your electronic devices or power most of the lights for instance.
Motor battery : similar to a car battery, necessary for the engine to work.
220V system : the 220 volt system is powered by an electrical hookup plug and it powers daily use items like kitchen appliances, your TV, and other electrical appliances.
Fluids in a camping car :
Grey water waste : those are the waters coming from the washing up (sink) and the shower. The valve is located under the motorhome.
Black waste : it is the cassette of the chemical toilet.
