Do you have an electrical problem with the motorhome? The right reflex is to check the condition of the fuses.
The fuse box is usually located behind the passenger seat or in the cargo area. We advise you to refer to the motorhome manual.
Find the right fuse to replace:
5 A fuse for supplying the exterior light depends on the external light button, and it goes off automatically when the engine is started.
10 A fuse for supplying the water pump depends on the pump button.
10 A fuse for the heating/water heater power supply depends on the available ON / OFF button.
20 A fuse for powering the light group. It depends on the light button.
30 A fuse for powering the 12 V refrigerator
20 A fuse for the auxiliary power supply (solar panel load limiter or electric step) depends on the available ON / OFF button. Auxiliary 1.
3 A fuse for the gas supply (refrigerator, kitchen, water heater valve, etc.). It depends on the available ON / OFF button.
3 A fuse for protection of the output out.
The fuse is blown if the filament is broken or with a burnt mark. You can consider any fuse that looks different from the others to be out of order.
Replace the fuse
Often in the motorhome, you will find a box of spare fuses. If not, you can find it at an auto supply store.
Regardless of the brand, your new fuse must be the same size, shape, and current as of the old one.
The number written on the fuse is its intensity. If you put a fuse with a lower amperage, it may blow faster; if it is higher, your entire circuit is in danger because it is poorly protected.
